Originally revealed at PSX 2016, Vane lets players control a bird with the ability to shapeshift into a human child, exploring a ruined desert and solving the mysteries of the surrounding world. The world around them will react as they do this, creating new paths and eventually becoming something utterly unrecognizable
While not much else is known at this time, art director Rasmus Deguchi said:
“With Vane, we wanted to make a game that emphasizes mood and atmosphere over more conventional mechanics. While loosely inspired by titles like Journey and Ico, we wanted to make something different. A little more unsettling. A little more surprising. A little more primal. It’s been a long and wild journey making Vane and we can’t wait for the world to experience what we’ve cooked up!”
