Interview: Josh Jacobs on SUPER CROME

Interview: Josh Jacobs on SUPER CROME

SUPER CROME was one of my favorite finds at this past year’s Play NYC Convention. It grabbed my attention with it’s retro graphics, kept my attention with tight controls and surprisingly modern mechanics for a bullet hell shoot-em-up, and stuck with me by teasing the slightest bit of interesting world-building and an intriguing story.

Ahead of the games release into Early Access today, I had the chance to talk with Josh Jacobs, the developer of SUPER CROME and to pick his brain about the game’s nostalgic aesthetic, fantastic design and what drew him to the world of indie game development:

Our thanks to Josh for taking the time to talk with us and share his story.

SUPER CROME: Bullet Purgatory is now available on Steam Early Access.
