I’ve been watching the many GIFS of ITTA’s development with great anticipation: A Souls-esq Bullet Hell Adventure, featuring a girl in a blue hoodie, her cat, and a dying world crumbling around her. It’s a unique take on a calssic formula, and I was interested to know more about the game, it’s design philosophy and the developer creating it.
That’s part of the reason I was so happy to get a chance to interview Jacob Williams, the developer behind ITTA. In this interview, we talk about the game’s interesting combination of mechanics, its aesthetic and atmosphere, and what drew Jacob to the world of indie game development.
Our thanks to Jacob for taking the time to talk with us and for sharing his story.
You can find out more about ITTA on the game’s Steam Page. It is currently slated for a 2019 release.
