Wandersong has been on my radar since it’s Kickstarter three years ago. A brightly colored game of music, mischief and adventure, it seemed a wonderfully upbeat alternative to the violent video games I saw so often when looking through the new and upcoming titles.
It’s been a long wait, but Wandersong is releasing next week, on September 27th, and ahead of that release, we managed to nab the game’s developer, Greg Lobanov, for a chat about his bardic creation. In this interview, we discuss the game’s musical mechanics, it’s aesthetic evolution and what drew Greg to the world of making games.
Our thanks to Greg for taking the time to talk with us and share his story, and a bit about the design of Wandersong.
