During the March 2020 Indie World presentation, developer Chibig Studio announced that their farming adventure game Summer in Mara will be coming to Nintendo Switch first as a timed exclusive in Spring 2020 with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game coming “a bit later.”
Summer in Mara has you play a Koa, an adventurous girl exploring the calm and relaxing tropical archipelago of Mara as well as the ocean that surrounds it. According to the developer, Summer in Mara will include a strong narrative, a mix of farming, crafting, and exploring mechanics, an open ocean with over 20 different islands to explore, your own customizable island you can add buildings, crops, and farm animals, over 25 different characters to meet and befriend, over 300 quests to help improve Mara, and day and night cycles as well as weather cycles that both have an effect on the world with different events.
