Earlier today, Russ Pitts and the Flying Saucer Media team released a trailer for their currently Kickstarting documentary project, Stage of Development.

Besides being a damn fine trailer, this bit of footage is also evidence of something pretty incredible: This project has, for the most part, already been shot. Principal photography for the 4 initial segments of Stage of Development wrapped on  August 21st. This project is happening. This is a passion project through and through and we love it.

Additionally, there have been four teasers of the four sections of this documentary. They cover William Chyr,Young Horses, Bit Bash, and We Are Chicago.  We’d encourage you to check them out, as they are the best way to get an idea of the scope and quality this project is looking to cover.

Stage of Development has 4 days left in its Kickstarter funding period, with $26,762 promised of its $42,891 goal at the time of writing. We encourage you check out the Kickstarter page and pledge if you are interested in seeing more of this kind of journalism. Find out why we are backing this project, and think it is so special, here.
