Interview: Zac Fierce on BOMBFEST

BOMBFEST was a highlight for us at this year’s PAX East and made the list of our favorite party games from the convention. It’s a remarkably simple game to pickup and play, and has a charming, nostalgic aesthetic that screamed to me there was a story behind the game’s inspiration.

I recently connected with Zac Fierce, one of the developers of BOMBFEST, and talked with him to learn a bit more about this explosive 4 player multiplayer game. We discus the game’s charming origins, it’s innovative way to keep you in the game after death, and what drew Zac into the world of indie game development.
