Since I first saw it at PAX East 2017, MOTHERGUNSHIP has been on my radar, a ridiculous and over the top mix of guns, crafting, bullet hell and more guns. I saw the game again at this year’s PAX East, got to try the new demo, and reconnected with the development team.
Post-PAX, I had the chance to sit down with Joe Mirabello, the director of MOTHERGUNSHIP, to talk about the game’s unique crafting system and the challenges it brings, how the game has evolved over it’s development, and the addition of story elements that were seen in the PAX East 2018 Demo. We also chat about what drew Joe to the world of Indie Game development, his inspirations, and the indie games that have captured his attention recently.
Our thanks to Joe for taking the time to sit down and share his stories with us!
MOTHERGUNSHIP is currently slated for a release in 2018, and will be available on XBox One, PS4 and PC.
You can wishlist the game on Steam now.
