Interview: Jay Kidd of Wraith Games

Interview: Jay Kidd of Wraith Games

Collapsus was one of the best puzzle games we played earlier this year at PAX East, a interesting and innovative take on a classic formula, using a feature people tend to take for granted to make something truly unique.

I recently had the chance to talk with Jay Kidd, the founder of Wraith Games and creator of Collapsus, about how Collapsus turns standard formulas on their heads, the history and story of both the game and Wraith Games, how he goes about designing puzzle, and more.

Our thanks to Jay for taking the time to sit down with us and share so many fantastic insights into the world of indie development!

A free to play early build of Collapsus is available on Itch.io right now, so you’ve got no excuse not to try it out!

Editor-in-Chief of IndieHangover.com. With a soft spot for epics, sagas and tales of all types, Jacob approaches games as ways to tell stories. He's particularly interested in indie games because of the freedom they have to tell different stories, often in more interesting and innovative ways than Triple A titles.
