Damsel first appeared on our radar just over a year ago, as part of the Equity Arcade’s first offering of titles. We played an early demo of the game and were impressed by its slick style and fast paced action, all wrapped up in a wonderfully Halloween-y comic narrative. Now, after a year, Damsel is available to the world and we wanted to know a bit more about it’s development.
We had a chance to talk with Anthony Wood and Megan Summers of Screwtape Studios about Damsel, that releases today. In particular, we discuss the game’s fairly unique pacing, it’s comic book art style and what drew them to the world of independent game development.
Our thanks to Anthony and Megan for taking the time to sit down and talk with us, and for sharing their story!
Damsel is available now on Steam.
