Train Jam has been one of the coolest events I’ve had the pleasure to cover during my time at IndieHangover. Yes, there’s the initial fact that it is a game jam taking place on a Train, but even more than that, there are some incredibly cool games made during this 72 Hour period that are them immediately shown off at GDC.
It’s still one of my dreams to sit in on the jam and cover the event for IndieHangover one year…
With information emerging for Train Jam 2018, I reached out to Train Jam’s organizer, Adriel Wallick, to learn a bit more about the event, what makes it so special, the hurdles encountered since 2014, and what lead her to create this unique and beloved event.
There’s also a few tips for next year’s jammers in here too!
Our thank to Adriel for taking the time to share her story with us! We cannot wait to she next year’s creations!

Jammer Tickets will be going on sale Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 4pm CET.
