IndieBox Ending Monthly Boxes

IndieBox Ending Monthly Boxes

Announced yesterday, The IndieBox is ending their monthly subscription collectors box program with the intent to focus on more directly helping independent developers.

The upcoming Collector’s Box for Torchlight II will be IndieBox’s final subscription box.  Subscribers who are waiting for the monthly Banner Saga or Invisible Inc. add-ons should still expect them, and subscribers with remaining boxes on their subscriptions will receive coupons that can be redeemed for pre-existing boxes.

IndieBox started in November of 2013 as the brainchild of three guys with a vision of creating a company that helped to bolster indie developers in an innovative way while they navigated the saturated market of digital distribution. Over the course of four years, IndieBox has produced over 40 collector’s edition indie PC games for its subscribers. We’ve been very fortunate to work with developers that love their games (and their fans) and have had great success at creating some truly fascinating works of art.

As a subscriber, I’m sorry to see the service go, but I’m certainly eager to see what projects will take it’s place.
