Today, Definat Development announced not only that Hand of Fate would be coming to Xbox One in January of next year, in addition to the PC and the PS4, but also that David Goldfarb would be designing additional encounters for the game pre-release.
Gamers who download Hand of Fate on Steam Early Access will be able to play new content created by industry luminary David Goldfarb, of Battlefield and Payday fame, prior to the game’s official launch. Goldfarb has designed original encounters, locations, items and a story which flesh out a hidden optional quest in Hand of Fate.
David Goldfarb’s side mission begins when players discover the corpse of a hunter — missing its shadow. As the level progresses, more bodies without shadows pile up. Players make their way to the Gorge of Beasts, where the bones of a great creature envelope the surrounding land in darkness. From the gloom emerges a mythical monstrosity terrorizing the land, a creature that must be defeated.
Hand of Fate is now available on Steam Early Access.
