We don’t have a tone of information at this point, but Hand of Fate 2, the sequel to Defiant Development’s deck-building action RPG, is on the horizon.
The sequel was announced on April 5th, and was accompanied by a sutibly mysterious trailer:
Early previews at the game have all pretty much said that Hand of Fate 2 is a refinement of the original ideas presented in Hand of Fate, with a number of new features and mechanics. PC Gamer mentions that you’ll now have the opportunity to find Companion Cards, which will give you NPC Allies that will assist in combat encounters, and offer some flavorful advice during non-combat interactions.
PC Gamer also been mentioned that card rarity has been added, making deck building a bit more strategic. Some cards will be marked as Silver or Gold, and you’ll be limited in how many of these cards you can put in a deck.
Currently, Hand of Fate 2 is scheduled to be released some time in early 2017.
