GRIS is Gorgeous

GRIS is Gorgeous

Not that this hasn’t already made it’s way around the internet, but GRIS is gorgeous. Being developed by Nomada Studio of Barcelona, and published by Devolver Digital, GRIS was announced on Monday, and has already been attracting a ton of attention. It’s not hard to see why:

GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulous designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

The genre of puzzle platformer doesn’t exactly narrow down what we can look forward to in terms of gameplay with GRIS, but luckily, there’s already some gameplay available to observe. Gamespot published a 20 minute peak at the game which does a phenomenal job of contextualizing the amazing art:

With it’s stunning artistic direction, gorgeous soundtrack and interesting and atmospheric take on puzzle platforming, I think GRIS just shot to the top of my “Most Anticipated Indie of the Year” list.

GRIS will be coming to Nintendo Switch and PC this December.

If you’re eager to follow the game than you can head on over to Steam and Wishlist it.

Have your say!
