It’s no secret, everyone at RaidWarning is eagerly awaiting and keeping a watchful eye on the development of the DayZ standalone edition. Last week’s update from DayZ developer Dean “Rocket” Hall brought a lot of excitement to those looking for a more stable, less hacked, and feature-rich release of one of the most successful mods to rock 2012. However, on the back of today’s news around a Halo 3 Steam page being found, another little gem popped up… a DayZ standalone community page.
While this news doesn’t mean the game is just around the corner, it does lend a little more hope that we’ll not only see distribution through Steam at launch, but the developers may be closer to open beta/release than some may have anticipated.
Here’s to hoping our favorite zombie/survival/pvp game IS just right around the bend.
