Chroma Squad stars a cast of stunt actors who decide to create their own tokusatsu action show after quitting their previous job. Players can cast new actors, buy new studio equipment and upgrades, and craft weapon and giant mech props. Chroma Squad also features teamwork maneuvers, skill trees, a branching storyline with three different endings, pixel art, and a chiptune soundtrack.
A release date for Chroma Squad on Nintendo Switch has not yet been specified, but will be revealed in the near future. Chroma Squad was originally released first on PC on April 30, 2015, on iOS, and Android on May 18, 2017, and on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 19, 2017. After a rights dispute with former Power Rangers owner Saban during development in 2014, a subtitle which reads, “Inspired by Saban’s Power Rangers” was added to the game.
