Boston FIG Open for Submissions

Earlier Today, The Boston Festival of Indie Games announced that it was now open to submissions for the 2013 FIG, which will be taking place on September 13th:

The Boston Festival of Indie Games (Boston FIG), presented by MIT Game Lab and Boston Indies, is now accepting submissions for their 2014 digital gametabletop game and art showcases atwww.bostonfig.com.

A celebration of independent game development in a variety of media and genres, The Boston Festival of Indie Games is open to the public and will take place Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Johnson Athletic Center at MIT in Cambridge, MA. Boston FIG provides independent game developers with the opportunity to show off their latest games, get feedback from the public and win fantastic prizes at the Figgies Awards Show.

Developers and artists who are accepted into the Boston Festival of Indie Games Showcase will have the opportunity to share their creations with thousands in attendance on September 13th, as well as to be featured on the Boston FIG website. The deadline for submissions is Thursday, June 20. Submission fees are $30 for digital games and $10 for tabletop and are limited to developers and/or artists in the New England region (see website for complete list of eligible regions). Submissions must include the game’s name and description, the type of game, the team name, and the game’s website.
