Boston Festival of Indie Games 2016 Date Announced

In a press release sent out last night, the Boston Festival of Indie Games announced the dates of its 2016 show: September 10th from 10AM to 8PM at the Johnson Athletic Center in MIT.

Mark your calendars now. September 10, 2016. 9/10/16. Seriously, go do it now. Attendee tickets will go on sale in the coming weeks.

The Boston Festival of Indie Games is the biggest celebration of independent tabletop and video games in New England. Boston FIG is an inclusive, welcoming environment filled with family-friendly activities and games you won’t see anywhere else. With over 4,000 in attendance last year, 2016 is shaping up to be the biggest year yet!

In addition, the BFIG also announced that submissions for the show would open on April 1st:

BostonFIG’s Showcases will open for submissions on April 1.

2016 will be another great year for Boston FIG’s Indie Showcases, with all-star judges, cool new categories, and great games for everyone to experience.

The Boston FIG is a superb event highlight both tabletop and digital games, and giving you a more casual setting than some of the larger conventions, where you can actually talk with developers about their games. IndieHangover will be in attendance, and we’ll be sure to give you a sneak peak at some of the great new finds we discover!

Have your say!
