Aragami: Shadow Edition Heads to Nintendo Switch in February

Publisher Merge Games and developer Lince Works have announced that their stealth action title, Aragami: Shadow Edition, will be released both physically and digitally for Nintendo Switch on February 21, 2019.

In Aragami, you play as an undead assassin who can manipulate shadows. This power allows you to teleport, create new paths, weapons, abilities, and even shadow beasts to defeat your enemies. Aragami is said to have been inspired by a combination of both old school as well as more recent stealth based titles such as Tenchu, Metal Gear Solid, Mark of the Ninja, and Dishonored.

Players also have the ability to change between two distinct playstyles, either playing as a Ghost and focusing more on avoiding detection, or as a Demon, destroying every enemy you come across no matter what.

Aragami: Shadow Edition includes the original base game as well as the Aragami: Nightfall expansion. Both the base game and expansion support full two-player online co-op with cross platform play between Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One.

A signature edition which includes a special coin, two limited edition enamel pins, an original soundtrack CD, a numbered collector’s certificate, “The Art of Aragami” book, a special “Sierra” box with alternative artwork, and a collector’s art card is available for pre-order.
